So much fun. So many new friends. So much inspiration. Way too many ideas floating around in my head! Here are some snap shots of the event. I am so glad that I went.
Heidi Swapp has a new line coming out. We got a little sneak peak the last night. I can't wait for it to release. I loved the last stuff she did on her own. Remember the masks and stamps? Oh, and you can't forget the clocks! Love.
Of course, I was just beside myself to meet Ali Edwards. In fact, she was on the shuttle to the hotel. I think I might have squealed a bit. (Pam - you totally saw my face, I'm sure priceless.)
My Texas girl, Janet Hopkins. She came to Waco to teach at Crop-Paper-Scissors. I really enjoyed meeting and visiting with her. She encouraged me to attend this event and I'm so glad she did. Janet is "one" of the "House of Three" with Heidi Swapp and Rhonna Farrer. Her style is so beautiful and the project we created was just fabulous. I can't wait to finish it and show it off.
Vicki Boutin is one of my new favorite people. She is just so sweet and so fun! I really love her style. She has a new book coming out and it looks so awesome. You can pre-order it here. Such a talented lady!
Another favorite I have now is Amy Totty. She is super awesome! I can't wait to possibly teach some of her techniques in conjuction with some Amanda Herring fabrics.
And last, but not least, is a picture of my new peeps. Amanda Herring (left) owns The Quilted Fish. She is a fabric designer and has reached over to the scrapbooking world with Bazzill. You can find those here. In the middle (top) is Sabrina from AZ. She is just an amazing lady who kept me in awe with all the things she can accomplish on a daily basis. And she happens to have the most awesome name. And finally, my friend Pam who I jsut adore. She is from WA and we met on the shuttle to the hotel (yes, with Ali). We hung out the whole time and had some good dinners, good wine and great conversations about life in general. These girls made the trip worth remembering!!
